Balsamic Dressing

It’s so easy to make your own salad dressings, and you can control your ingredients and flavours.  Salad dressing is actually a surprising source of hidden sugar, so if you’re trying to cut back, this is an easy way to start.
Prep Time: 5 minutes


  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Mix all the ingredients in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid.  Shake well before each use.


It is not necessary to store this is the fridge.  It will keep in your pantry for up to 3 months.  If you do store it in the fridge the olive oil will solidify, so make sure to let it reach room temperature before you need it.
