Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Pulled Pork is one of the easiest things you can make in your slow cooker.  Most directions for slow cooker pulled pork have you toss your tenderloins in with your favourite barbecue sauce, cook it on low for a few hours, shred it, and voila–pulled pork!  My method diverges from this simply because I hate trying to scrub cooked-on BBQ sauce from the inside of my slow cooker. Meal Plan for the Week of April 28, 2018

This week Wednesday is McHappy Day at McDonald’s, which we always support because McDonald House Charities is a really worthy cause.  So, in keeping with having a theme for Wednesday, I decided to make every night a Theme Night this week.  In a departure from our normal habits, we will actually be dining out twice this week.  We are big fans of superhero movies in our household, and Avengers: Infinity Wars was just released, so Movie Night Monday will probably be featuring popcorn for dinner! Meal Plan for the Week of March 31, 2018

I’m still out of commission on the cooking front, so this week’s Meal Plan has a lot of quick and easy dishes my husband and son can prepare.  There are great specials on beef this week at Loblaws, so our Easter Sunday dinner is going to be roast beef tenderloin with all the yummy side dishes. We will be making use of the leftover beef for dinner on Tuesday.  The recipe of the week is going to be Thursday’s Garlic Butter Shrimp Linguine.  It will be posted Monday morning.
