Moroccan Spice Mix

This recipe makes about 1/4 of a cup of spice mix.  You can store it in an airtight container and keep it for about 6-12 months.  I usually buy the spices at the bulk food store so I can buy only the amount I need, but I usually make more so it will last for several recipes.  

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 Tbsp allspice
  • 1/2 Tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.  Makes 1/4 cup of spice mix.
