Greek Salad Quinoa Bowl

This is a really fresh, protein-packed recipe for a summer night.  To add extra protein, quinoa is substituted for the lettuce.  The real beauty of a recipe like this, though, is the way you can personalize it, not only to suit your family’s needs, but to suit the individual family member’s needs.  We prepare the basic ingredients and let everyone assemble their own dinner. Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Pulled Pork is one of the easiest things you can make in your slow cooker.  Most directions for slow cooker pulled pork have you toss your tenderloins in with your favourite barbecue sauce, cook it on low for a few hours, shred it, and voila–pulled pork!  My method diverges from this simply because I hate trying to scrub cooked-on BBQ sauce from the inside of my slow cooker.
