There aren’t really any big sales this week, so I’m just making what I feel like eating. Sunday’s dinner is fully experimental–the idea came to me as I was falling asleep one night last week. I will let you know how it turns out on the Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/Xratedfood/). If it goes well, it will show up again in the coming weeks as a recipe link. If you have been following the Weekly Plan, you’ll see Burgers up again tomorrow night. We’re not having them two nights in a row, though; I went to Costco today and bought a BBQ chicken, as you do when you go to Costco, so we have switched burgers out for BBQ Chicken Naan Pizza. Meal Plan for the Week of March 24, 2018
Sorry for the late post this week. Your blogger is experiencing technical difficulties. Loblaws has their whole Free From brand chickens on sale for $2.49/lb this week, so we will be roasting two on Saturday and living off the leftovers for a few days. The Free From chickens are worth buying, especially when they’re on sale, because they are a much more flavourful bird than the regular chickens. And remember, since your oven is fully hot anyway it doesn’t cost any more to cook two chickens at the same time and get leftovers for easy prep meals during the week or to have cooked chicken on hand in the freezer.
